We wanted to share that moving forward, our Workshop and Coaching Foci will be sourced from The P3 Toolkit.

Intentionally Facilitating (Creating Purposeful Play) and (Using IRLA Grids
We are excited to be with your teachers next week to get some quality learning time together through the PD day.

October 9th Update and Remote Learning Day Support for K:
Hello, Principals and Assistant Principals,
We added a Remote Day Support page to the FPK Teachers' site with support materials and tips for K teachers specifically for the October 16th Remote Day. This includes information for your teachers to prepare their K students on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
Additionally, please see this resource with a few considerations for your own preparation of K teachers, K students, and their families.
We will share the FPK website with teachers in tomorrow's weekly email. We are adding a video resource for them on navigating Google Meet with K students before we share.
Lastly, if you have any questions or if we can support you in any way, we are here for you! I am available virtually or by phone on Tuesday and Wednesday. Felicia will be on site in the District on Tuesday and available virtually on Wednesday. You can reach us by email anytime.

Upcoming:
Remote learning suggestions/supports: Felicia and Tanya joined the meeting today with the APs about remote learning guidelines and expectations. We are putting together tips and resources for your K teachers (and you) to help teachers get ready for the remote day and help students get ready for the remote day. More to come next week!
10/14/25 Admin Support Day: I will be visiting ECC, Grandview, and Margetts. Next week, I will provide my scheduled time at each school.
10/21/25 Supt Conference Day: FPK Workshop for ALL K classroom teachers from 8:30 - 1:30; more logistics to follow. TAs are welcome.
The first FPK District Leadership Team Meeting is scheduled for 10/28/25 from 3:30 - 5:30. See the information here and link for K Classroom teachers to apply by Thurs. 10/3. Your help in encouraging your teachers for this leadership role is appreciated!

Unit 2 Materials to be Distributed:
These materials are the copies teachers need for Unit 2: We Learn by Playing:
Student materials: There are enough copies for every student to get one, and each class to have at least 3 extras.
Teacher materials: There is 1 per teacher, with 3 extras overall. Keep 1 for yourself!
Also, know that all of these materials are available on the FPK Teacher Website if any extra copies are needed.
